Summary
Description
|
The
utility-to-utility partnership programs are aimed to bring commercial
techniques to the Ukraine energy enterprises. Through periodic exchange
visits, Ukrainian counterparts learn of the metering, billing and
collection; competitive fuel procurement, IAS conversion, project
finance. This knowledge is critical to a commercialization and better
preparation for strategic investors' privatization
|
|
Strategic
Objective
|
SO
1.5. A more economically sustainable and environmentally sound energy
sector
|
|
Results
|
All
Ukrainian partner companies were exposed to an IAS training. Cash
collection in Lvivenergo increased from 12% to 60% through introducing
new metering and collection techniques. ADP notes of Dniper Generating
Companies were registered in the New York Exchange and this company
stands better prepared for privatization
