Major activities

Promotion of sustainable forest management practices, research and propagation of forests environmental importance, study of the forest role for climate change, forests environmental monitoring, investigating forest biodiversity, public environmental assessment of the human impact on forests, development of environmental approaches in forest management, forest management alternatives design and modeling, environmental training and education.

Experience in project development

ECOFOREST possesses 10-year-old experience in project development in the area of forest management and human-induced transformation of the environment. The undertaken projects were fulfilled in a partnership with the National botanical garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, State committee for forestry, scientific and technical center "Еskhar", state scientific center "Ecoradar", and scientific and methodological center "Agroecos".

Qualification of the experts

Professional foresters, ecologists, biologists (experts with university education and doctoral degrees), students.

Technical resources

Library on current forestry issues, computer facilities and special field equipment.
